Abstract
FREQUENCY OF HEARING LOSS AMONG PATIENTS ATTENDING HOSPITALS IN MOSUL CITY
Ban Taha Ali Al-Sabbagh*, Mohammad Esmael Khaleel Al Salami and Marwan Faisal Buraa
ABSTRACT
Background: A hearing loss is either partial or complete loss of hearing, which may develop at some point in life or can be congenital. Hearing loss can be unilateral or bilateral. Hearing defects can cause educational restrictions for kids, and it might cause troubles for adults' social and professional interactions. It may be transient or irreversible.[1] Age-related hearing loss is typically bilateral and results from the degeneration of cochlear hair cells. Isolation and depression both can result from hearing loss in certain persons, especially in older people.[2]
